An infinity of conservation laws for highly symmetric nonisentropic ideal gas flow
From MaRDI portal
Publication:1115739
It is shown that for nonisentropic gas flow which is either a one- dimensional plane flow or a flow with cylindrical or spherical symmetry there exists an infinity of local conservation laws. From these, for appropriate initial conditions an infinity of global conserved quantities can be derived.
