Numerical range of linear operators in spaces with indefinite metric
From MaRDI portal
Publication:1187237
Let \(H\) be a complex Hilbert space with indefinite inner product \((x,y)\) and \(A: H\to H\) be a linear operator. The main theorem proved is that the set \(V(A)=\{(Ax,x)\): \((x,x)=1\}\) is convex.
