The extremal zeros of a perturbed orthogonal polynomials system

The extremal zeros of a finite family of orthogonal polynomials are the smallest zero and the greatest zero of the polynomial of highest degree. The author analyses the effect of the perturbation of coefficients of the three-term recurrence relation defining the above polynomials on the position of the zeros in question.
