Necessary and sufficient condition for a group \((G,+)\) to be an \(l\)- group
Necessary and sufficient condition for a group \((G,+)\) to be an \(l\)- group
It is proved that a group \(G\) is group-isomorphic to a lattice-ordered group if and only if there is a unary operation on \(G\) satisfying one identity. An analogous result is obtained for rings and lattice-ordered rings.
