Finite group algebras in iterative methods of solving boundary-value problems of potential theory

From MaRDI portal

A method for the numerical solution of boundary value problems with boundaries of complex structures is presented. This method needs less computational effort than other approaches. Another feature of the method is that the matrices to be inverted are of smaller size which leads to better stability. An application to a three-dimensional problem in electrostatics is given.
