Using general polar values as control points for polynomial curves
From MaRDI portal
(Redirected from Publication:1334848)
Computing the values of a homogeneous \(n\)-th degree polynomial \(f(x)\) from values of its polarized form \(f(x_ 1,\ldots,x_ n)\) is called blossoming in CAD language. The paper contains a study of the conditions to be imposed on sets of values \((x_ 1,\ldots,x_ n)\) to serve as substitutes for control points in Bézier splines.
