Smoothing analysis of multicolour pattern schemes
From MaRDI portal
(Redirected from Smoothing analysis of multicolour pattern schemes)
The three- and four-colour patterns used within the two-dimensional line relaxation methods are analyzed from the point of the smoothing properties in the multigrid cycle. The four-colour ordering is considered for the anisotropic diffusion operator and the three-colour ordering for the constant-coefficient advection-diffusion equation.
