For several problems such as \[ \varepsilon^2 (u^{(4)}-u)-u+u=f(x),\quad x\in(0,\pi), \qquad u(0)=u'(0)=0, \] the author indicates some functions \(f\) such that either solutions are unbounded or converge as \(\varepsilon\) goes to zero.
