Abstract: We present numerical results in SU(2) lattice gauge theory for the instantaneous part of the gluon propagator in Coulomb gauge D_{44, inst} = V_{coul}(R) delta(t). Data are taken on lattice volumes 24^4 and 28^4 for 7 values of beta in the interval . The data are confronted with the confinement scenario in Coulomb gauge. They are consistent with a linearly rising color-Coulomb potential V_{coul}(R).
