Führt man das Symbol \([n]\equiv (q^n-1)/(q-1)\) ein, so lautet die Formel: \[ \varPhi(x,+a)=\varPhi(x,0)+\frac{a}{[1]}\;\varPhi'(x,0)+q\;\frac{a^2}{[2]!}\;\varPhi(x,0)+ \cdots +q^{\frac12 r(r-1)}\;\frac{a^r}{[r]!}\;\varPhi(r)(x,0)+ \cdots. \] In der vorliegenden Note wird diese Formel nur für Funktionen erörtert, welche durch Potenzreihen \(\sum c_nx^n\) dargstellt sind.
