Boundary conditions for radiative heat transfer in monocrystal growth in processes in ampules. II: A semitransparent quartz ampule, Bridgman's method, and the traveling-heater method.
In this paper author formulate boundary conditions for radiative heat transfer in a semitransparent ampule containing a substance (crystal or melt) and moving in a heating chamber. The boundary conditions take into account the following factors: (1) the frequency and ampule-temperature dependences of light absorption coefficients; (2) light emission by the substance and the properties of the substance, heater, and ampule; and (3) the domain geometry. Radiant fluxes absorbed by the ampule are calculated. Boundary conditions on the free melt surface are formulated for Bridgman's method.
