Abstract: We construct a compact symplectic manifold with a Hamiltonian circle action for which the Duistermaat-Heckman function is not log-concave.

The author constructs a compact symplectic 6-dimensional manifold with an Hamiltonian circle action for which the Duistermaat-Heckman function is not log-concave, i.e., its logarithm is not concave. This provides a counterexample to a conjecture of Ginsburg and Knudsen.
