Based on a representation for symmetric supermartingale multiplicative functionals, obtained by \textit{M. Jin} and \textit{J. Ying} [Chin. Ann. Math., Ser. B 23, 24-29 (2002; Zbl 1019.60076)], the authors study the Dirichlet form of the transformed (symmetric) Markov process.
