Stabilization of a Boussinesq system with localized damping

The authors consider a class of Boussinesq systems which couples two Benjamin-Bona-Mahony type equations posed on a bounded interval. When a localized damping term acts in one equation only, the authors show that the energy of considered problem converges to zero as time tends to infinity.
