Abstract: We show that the space $mathcal{S}^{\prime }(Gamma)$ of Laplace transformable distributions, where $Gammasubseteqmathbb{R}^d$ is a non-empty convex open set, is an ultrabornological (PLS)-space. Moreover, we determine an explicit topological predual of $mathcal{S}^{\prime }(Gamma)$.
