Nonlinear programming. An introduction
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2016424
This is an undergraduate textbook on mathematical optimization. In the first part, theoretical results are presented and explained. In the second part, algorithms for solving unconstrained and constrained optimization problems are given. The textbook contains a very large number of examples and exercises illustrating theory and algorithms. Solutions for many exercises are given. An interesting topic are the algorithms for nondifferentiable problems such as bundle methods, global optimization and heuristics.
