A family of weighted distributions based on the mean inactivity time and cumulative past entropies
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2054785
A family of weighted distributions based on the mean inactivity time and alpha-past entropy is defined and a few properties such as bounds, characterization and stochastic orders are studied. The results are extended to generalized mixtures involving other weighted distributions. The results derived by the authors may be useful for exploring further the concept of classical information measures.
