Meet infinite distributivity for congruence lattices of direct sums of algebras
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2122483
The authors prove that in a congruence distributive variety the meet infinite distributivity of a congruence lattice is preserved by direct sums of algebras. It means that the congruence lattice of a direct sum of algebras is meet infinitely distributive if and only if a congruence lattice of every constituent algebra is meet infinitely distributive.
