Abstract: Let be the Latt`es map associated to the multiplication-by- endomorphism of an elliptic curve defined over a finite field . We determine the density of periodic points for in . We show that the periodic point densities converge as along certain arithmetic progressions, and compute simple explicit formulas for when is a prime and belongs to a special family of supersingular elliptic curves.
