Contractibility of vector-valued Köthe echelon algebras
The paper is a continuation of the study on Köthe echelon algebras carried out by the author in [\textit{K. Piszczek}, Math. Nachr. 292, No. 6, 1333--1348 (2019; Zbl 1430.46035); Quaest. Math. 43, No. 4, 493--505 (2020; Zbl 1454.46042)] and by \textit{A. Yu. Pirkovskii} [Banach Cent. Publ. 91, 261--278 (2010; Zbl 1216.46064)]. The main problem is to study the connections between the contractibility of Köthe echelon algebra \(\lambda_p(A)\) and the contractibility of vector-valued Köthe echelon algebra \(\lambda_p(A, \mathcal{A})\), where \(p\in\{0\}\cup[1, \infty)\), \(A\) is a Köthe matrix and \(\mathcal{A}\) is a Fréchet algebra. (For the detailed definitions of these notions, see the paper.) The main result of the paper states that \(\lambda_p(A, \mathcal{A})\) is contractible if and only if both \(\lambda_p(A)\) and \(\mathcal{A}\) are contractible. The author also states the conjecture that a similar result holds for the case \(p=\infty\).
