Sharp distortion theorems for some subclasses of starlike mappings on B_p^n in C^n
Special classes of univalent and multivalent functions of one complex variable (starlike, convex, bounded rotation, etc.) (30C45) Other generalizations of function theory of one complex variable (32A30) Holomorphic mappings, (holomorphic) embeddings and related questions in several complex variables (32H02)
In one-dimensional complex function theory, distortion theorems for usual star-like functions (resp. convex functions, close-to-convex functions) are well known. A natural idea is to extend the corresponding results to higher-dimensional complex function theory. Along this line, \textit{R. W. Barnard} et al. [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 344, No. 2, 907--924 (1994; Zbl 0814.32004)] first proved a distortion theorem for the Jacobi determinant of biholomorphic convex mappings on the Euclidean unit ball in \(\mathbb{C}^2\). Then, \textit{J. A. Pfaltzgraff} [Complex Variables, Theory Appl. 33, No. 1--4, 239--253 (1997; Zbl 0912.32017)] and the second author and \textit{W. Zang} [Chin. Ann. Math., Ser. A 20, No. 4, 505--512 (1999; Zbl 0978.32015)] obtained independently a distortion theorem for the Jacobi determinant of biholomorphic convex mappings of the Euclidean unit ball in \(\mathbb{C}^n\), \(n>2\). Unlike the convex mappings, there are only few results with respect to distortion theorems for the Jacobi determinant of biholomorphic star-like mappings. Some subclasses of star-like mappings were considered. First \textit{J. A. Pfaltzgraff} and \textit{T. J. Suffridge} [Ann. Univ. Mariae Curie-Skłodowska, Sect. A 53, 193--207 (1999; Zbl 0996.32006)] established a sharp distortion theorem for the Jacobi determinant for a subclass of biholomorphic star-like mappings. Subsequently, the authors [Taiwanese J. Math. 19, No. 2, 363--379 (2015; Zbl 1357.32014)] and the second author and \textit{X. Tang} [Chin. Ann. Math., Ser. A 37, No. 1, 47--54 (2016; Zbl 1363.32005)] gave distortion theorems for different subclasses of biholomorphic star-like mappings. Define \[B_p^n=\bigg\{z=(z_1,z_2,\dots,z_n)^{T}\in \mathbb{C}^n: \sum\limits_{l=1}^{n}|z_l|^p<1\bigg\}, \quad p>1.\] In the paper under review, the authors establish distortion theorems for the Jacobi determinant for three different subclasses of star-like mappings on \(B_p^n\).
