Quasi-periodic solutions for nonlinear Schrödinger equations with Legendre potential
This paper is focused on the existence of quasi-periodic solutions of a NSE with Legendre potential with singularities: \[ iu_t-u_{xx}+V_L(x)u+mu+\sec x |u|^2u=0. \] Here \(V_L(x)=-\frac{1}{2}-\frac{1}{4}\tan^2x\), \(x\in (-\frac{\pi}{2},\frac{\pi}{2})\) and \(m>0\). Birkhoff normal forms techniques and infinite-dimensional KAM theory are used. The obtained results generalize the findings in [\textit{C. Cao} and \textit{X. Yuan}, Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. 37, No. 4, 1867--1901 (2017; Zbl 1364.37151)], where \(m\in (0,\frac{1}{4})\cup (\frac{1}{4},\frac{41}{4})\).
