Abstract: Let mathbbM denote a complete, simply connected Riemannian manifold with sectional curvature KmathbbMleqk and Ricci curvature extRicmathbbMgeq(n1)K, where k,KinmathbbR. Then for a bounded domain OmegasubsetmathbbM with smooth boundary, we prove that the first nonzero Neumann eigenvalue mu1(Omega)leqmathcalCmu1(Bk(R)). Here Bk(R) is a geodesic ball of radius R>0 in the simply connected space form mathbbMk such that vol(Omega) = vol(Bk(R)), and mathcalC is a constant which depends on the volume, diameter of Omega and the dimension of mathbbM.
