In the paper, the Painlevé I equation is considered. Due to connection to isomonodromical deformation, solutions of this equations are parametrized by certain two-dimensional manifold which represents the conserved monodromy data. This manifold has singularities and the solutions of the Painlevé I equation corresponding to the \(1\)-dimensional components of this singular locus of the two-dimensional manifold are nothing but truncated solutions. And the \(0\)-dimensional components of the singular locus are related to \(3\)-truncated solutions. Analogous results for the Painlevé II equation were obtained by the author earlier. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1412.37003].
