Continuous images of products of scattered compact spaces
The author investigates continuous images of products of scattered compact spaces (he calls them r-adic spaces). The class of r-adic spaces contains all dyadic spaces, m-adic spaces, \(\xi\)-adic spaces, and many properties of these classes of spaces generalize to r-adic spaces. Some typical results: (1.7) If the Čech-Stone compactification of X is r- adic, then X is pseudocompact. (1.21) For any r-adic space X, \(d(X)\leq \pi w(X)\leq t(X)\cdot c(X).\) (2.5) For any linearly ordered r-adic space X, \(t(X)=\chi (X)=c(X)=d(X)=w(X)\).
