Abstract: Each series sumn=1inftyan of real positive terms gives rise to a topology on mathbbN=1,2,3,... by declaring a proper subset AsubseteqmathbbN to be closed if sumninAan<infty. We explore the relationship between analytic properties of the series and topological properties on mathbbN. In particular, we show that, up to homeomorphism, |mathbbR|-many topologies are generated. We also find an uncountable family of examples mathbbNalphaalphain[0,1] with the property that for any , there is a continuous bijection , but the only continuous functions are constant.
