Decentralized control for synchronization of delayed neural networks subject to dead-zone nonlinearity

A class of neural networks with time-varying delays is studied. Conditions for global synchronization of such network are derived on the basis of the Lyapunov approach. Moreover, the proposed control procedure is memoryless, decentralized and robust to the dead-zone nonlinearity. As an exmple a chaotic Hopfield neural network with two neurons is stabilized by means of the proposed synchronization scheme.
