Manifolds homotopy equivalent to P^n \# P^n
In this dense paper the authors classify the homeomorphism types of the closed manifolds of the title. The results seem to depend heavily on work of [\textit{S. E. Cappell}, Topology 13, 395--400 (1974; Zbl 0291.57007), Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 80, 1117--1122 (1974; Zbl 0322.57020) and Invent. Math. 33(2), 69--170 (1976; Zbl 0348.57017)] as well as [\textit{R.C. Kirby} and \textit{L. C. Siebenmann}, Foundational Essays on Topological Manifolds, Smoothings and Triangulations. Annals of Mathematics Studies, 88. Princeton, N. J.: Princeton University Press and University of Tokyo Press. V, (1977; Zbl 0361.57004)] with notes by John Milnor and Michael Atiyah.
