On schemes for the formation of a master sequence in a regularized extragradient solution method for variational inequalities
The author considers a monotone variational inequality problem in a finite-dimensional space setting and proposes to solve this problem by a combination of the known iterative regularization method by \textit{A. B.~Bakushinskij} and \textit{B. T.~Polyak} [Sov. Math., Dokl. 15, 1705--1710 (1974); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 219, 1038--1041 (1974; Zbl 0311.49015)] and his modification of the extragradient method [\textit{L. D. Popov}, Math. Notes 28, 845--848 (1981); translation from Mat. Zametki 28, 777--784 (1980; Zbl 0456.90068)]. Under the additional Lipschitz continuity assumption, the method converges to the normal solution. Some results in the absence of solutions are also given.
