Asymptotic methods for solving the Hamilton equations by the parametrization of canonical transformations
A new method for obtaining asymptotic solutions of periodic Hamiltonian systems is proposed under the assumption that the Hamiltonian can be represented by a series in powers of a small parameter. Algorithms for solving both the direct problem (of constructing the asymptotic series for the phase flow map on the basis of a given Hamiltonian) and the inverse problem (of constructing the Hamiltonian on the basis of a given phase flow map) are presented. Five examples are completely studied.
