Abstract: Using Koll'ar's semipositivity results, we produce a number of nef and ample tautological divisors on Hassett's spaces of weighted stable pointed curves. As an application, we prove that Hassett's spaces are log canonical models of Deligne-Mumford spaces of stable pointed curves.

In this nice paper, the author establishes a positivity result for the (twisted) relative dualizing sheaf over the Hassett's moduli space \(\overline{\mathcal M}_{g, \mathcal A}\) of weighted pointed stable curves [\textit{B. Hassett}, Adv. Math. 173, No. 2, 316--352 (2003; Zbl 1072.14014)], which generalizes some relevant results of \textit{J. Kollár} [J. Differ. Geom. 32, No. 1, 235--268 (1990; Zbl 0684.14002)] and \textit{S. Keel} [Ann. Math. (2) 149, No. 1, 253--286 (1999; Zbl 0954.14004)]. Using it as a building block, the author shows that certain tautological divisor classes on \(\overline{\mathcal M}_{g, \mathcal A}\) are nef. As an application, he further shows that \(\overline{\mathcal M}_{g, \mathcal A}\) is a log canonical model of \(\overline{\mathcal M}_{g}\) for every genus \(g\) and every weight vector \(\mathcal A\).
