On biconservative surfaces in 3-dimensional space forms

Abstract: We consider biconservative surfaces in a space form , with mean curvature function satisfying and at any point, and determine a certain Riemannian metric on such that is a Ricci surface in . We also obtain an intrinsic characterization of these biconservative surfaces.
