Multiplicative convolutions of functions from Lorentz spaces and convergence of series of Fourier-Vilenkin coefficients
Best approximation, Chebyshev systems (41A50) Fourier coefficients, Fourier series of functions with special properties, special Fourier series (42A16) Convergence and absolute convergence of Fourier and trigonometric series (42A20) Fourier series in special orthogonal functions (Legendre polynomials, Walsh functions, etc.) (42C10)
The aim of the article is to obtain some analogs and generalizations of known theorems for Fourier coefficients by multiplicative systems. The convergence of series of Fourier-Vilenkin coefficients is investigated. The Lorentz spaces are used, therefore, series of the Fourier coefficients for convolutions have a more complicated form. Some known results are transferred to the case of multiplicative convolution with minimal changes. Some facts from the theory of symmetric spaces are described and used.
