Numerical differentiation by radial basis functions approximation
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2454718
An algorithm for numerical differentiation is developed which is based on radial basis functions. The algorithm serves to reconstruct numerical derivatives from scattered noisy data in multiple space dimensions. An error estimate is proven under certain conditions on a regularization parameter and numerical examples are given.
