From MaRDI portal

The main scope of this paper is to establish a semigroup presentation of the classifying topos of an inverse semigroup. So, the author shows that any etendue has a left \(^{*}\)-semigroup presentation and that any left \(^{*}\)-semigroup may be codensely embedded in an inverse semigroup.
