Extensions of q-Chu-Vandermonde's identity
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2465845
The author gives elementary proofs of two remarkable and interesting generalizations of the \(q\)-Chu-Vandermonde summation formula for a terminating \({}_2\phi_1\) basic hypergeometric series. Several corollaries lead to a number of interesting special cases.
