Linear algebra in lattices and nilpotent endomorphisms of semisimple modules
The main goal of this paper is to translate some classical results of linear algebra in terms of lattices. Section 2 presents some preliminary notions and results of lattice theory. Section 3 deals with complete join homomorphisms. The author obtains many generalizations of well-known linear algebra results, such as Corollary 3.3 or Theorem 3.7. In Section 4 he formulates a Jordan normal base theorem for nilpotent join homomorphisms (see Theorem 4.2). As an application, in Theorem 4.3 he proves the existence of a Jordan normal base in a semisimple module with respect to a given nilpotent endomorphism.
