Das Arbeitsbuch ist eine Ergänzung der beiden sich an Anwender richtenden Einführungsbücher des ersten Autors [siehe ``Deskriptive Statistik. Eine Einführung mit SPSS für Windows mit Übungsaufgaben und Lösungen. (2000; Zbl 0951.62002)]. Der Stoffumfang ist der eines zweisemestrigen Einführungskurses für Wirt\-schafts\-wis\-sen\-schaft\-ler. Die Begriffe und Sachverhalte werden in knapper Form präsentiert, allerdings nicht so knapp wie bei einer reinen Formelsammlung. Jedes Kapitel schließt mit einem Aufgabenabschnitt; auch Lösungen werden mitgeteilt. Spezielle Anfgaben zielen auf den Einsatz von SPSS.
