Markov chains with stable drift and law of large numbers on hypergroups
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2565221
It is proved that for a wide class of non-compact one-dimensional hypergroups all finite mean random walks on them have stable drift at infinity. This fact is applied to obtain laws of large numbers. Certain examples of real Markov chains and random walks on some (among them new ones) hypergroups are considered.
