On computational solution of vector maximum problem

Multiobjective optimization problems of the form \(\max(f_1(x),\dots,f_k(x))\) subject to \(x\in M\subseteq\mathbb{R}^n\) are considered. Two approaches for solving such problems are discussed. The first transforms the problem to a fuzzy problem. The second assumes the \(f_i\)'s to be positive and represents the problem as single objective maximization problem where the objective function is the product of certain powers of the components \(f_i\). The latter is then solved by applying fuzzy techniques again.
