Linear and multiobjective programming with fuzzy stochastic extensions
Introductory exposition (textbooks, tutorial papers, etc.) pertaining to operations research and mathematical programming (90-01) Linear programming (90C05) Stochastic programming (90C15) Multi-objective and goal programming (90C29) Nonlinear programming (90C30) Fuzzy and other nonstochastic uncertainty mathematical programming (90C70)
The authors provide a textbook about a unified approach introducing both randomness and fuziness into multiobjectve programming. The book starts with an introduction to linear programming, then some aspects of the multiobjective optimization are described. After that, the elements of randomness and fuziness are introduced into the considerations. In the last two chapters a unified approach and some applications are presented. The book contains the solutions to the problems, as well as three appendices, where one can find some basic knowledge in the areas of Linear Algebra, Nonlinear Programming and the use of MS Excel with Solver to so solve the various types of problems considered in the publication.
