Extension of zeta function (2m)
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2640644
For an even integer n the authors evaluate the Fourier expansion of the function \(f_ n(x)=\sum^{n/2}_{m=1}x^{2m}\) at the endpoint \(x=\pi\), and they assert that the resulting formula is related to \(\zeta\) (n). The paper is badly printed. A line seems to be missing in the statement of the main theorem.
