Regularity of local times of random fields

From MaRDI portal
Publication:2642078

The authors study the fractional smoothness of local times of a rather general class of processes. Starting with the occupation time formula, they prove under some restrictions that the local time belongs to a certain \(L_p\)-Sobolev space (on an abstract Wiener space), \(p>1\). Further, the quasi-existence of local times in the sense of Malliavin calculus is shown. These results can be applied to local times of \(N\)-parameter \(d\)-dimensional Brownian motion, fractional Brownian motion, to self-intersection local time of 2-dimensional Brownian motion, and to smooth semimartingales.
