Periodic billiard paths in right triangles are unstable
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2642378
The article is concerned with the study of periodic billiard paths in triangles. A path is called stable if it survives small perturbations of the triangle, and unstable otherwise. In the article it is proved that every periodic billiard path in any right triangle is unstable.
