From MaRDI portal
Publication:2673596
Summary: This paper is concerned with the eventually periodicity of the following max-type difference equation system \[ \begin{aligned} x_{n + 1} = \max \left\{\frac{A}{x_n y_{n - 1}}, x_{n - 2}\right\},\\ y_{n + 1} = \max \left\{\frac{A}{y_n x_{n - 1}}, y_{n - 2}\right\}, \end{aligned} \] where \(n \in \mathbb{N}\), \(A \in \mathbb{R} \), and the initial values \(x_{-2}, x_{-1}, x_0, y_{-2}, y_{-1}, y_0\) are arbitrary non-zero numbers.
