Abstract: We refine a result of W.P. Li and Wang on the values of the form

l a m b d a_{1} p_{1} + l a m b d a_{2} p_{2}^{2} + l a m b d a_{3} p_{3}^{2} + m u_{1} 2^{m_{1}} + ... + m u_{s} 2^{m_{s}},

where

p_{1}, p_{2}, p_{3}
