Abstract: A subset of a group invariably generates if for every choice of . We say that a group is invariably generated if such exists, or equivalently if invariably generates . In this paper, we study invariable generation of Thompson groups. We show that Thompson group is invariable generated by a finite set, whereas Thompson groups and are not invariable generated.
