Orthogonal polynomials and functions of hypergeometric type (Jacobi, Laguerre, Hermite, Askey scheme, etc.) (33C45) Fourier and Fourier-Stieltjes transforms and other transforms of Fourier type (42A38) Multipliers in one variable harmonic analysis (42A45) Fourier series in special orthogonal functions (Legendre polynomials, Walsh functions, etc.) (42C10)
Abstract: We present a new criterion for the weighted boundedness of multiplier operators for Laguerre and Hermite expansions that arise from a Laplace-Stieltjes transform. As a special case, we recover known results on weighted estimates for Laguerre and Hermite fractional integrals with a unified and simpler approach.
