The authors determine formulas for (i) the isogonal cevian (the reflection of a cevian in the internal angle bisector emanating from the same vertex as the cevian) in terms of the thength of the cevian, the ratio into which the cevian divides the opposite side, and the lengths of the adjacent sides, (ii) the cevian in terms of the above lenghts (less that of the cevian itself) and the measures of the angle formed by the cevian and the interior angle bisector emanating from the same vertex, and of the angle from which the interior angle bisector emanates, which are used to prove several inequalities involving cevians.
