Abstract: We present a new method to prove the integrable boundary condition of the alternating spin chain in ABJM theory. By applying this method to the matrix product states derived in cite{Yang:2021hrl}, we demonstrate that the matrix product state is indeed integrable, and that the selection rules can be derived from the integrable boundary condition. Furthermore, we extend our analysis to more general boundary states. Lastly, we utilize our method to investigate the integrability of the giant graviton proposed in cite{Yang:2021hrl}, and find that it is only integrable for the cases where or .
